Sunday Social Snack’n'Chat – Reminder
Dear Fellow Classic Car Enthusiasts,
Well, I’m back in Chiang Mai again & happy to be home again after 5 weeks away!
So I thought I’d just give you a quick reminder that we’re having our Classic Cars of Lanna ‘Sunday Social’ this coming Sunday 28th September, at Inter Mini-Golf on the Sankamphaeng Road.

We shall be there from 10am until after lunch, so come along sometime during this period for a chat, a coffee, a snack and even a game of mini-golf!
Member Nico Thiel will be along on Sunday to give us a demonstration of his innovative prototype automotive hydrogen fuel replacement system! This will be worth coming along to see & his system has the potential to give fuel savings of reportedly 20% – 30%!
On a recent trip to Indonesia, I got the opportunity to visit not one, but two classic car shows in Jakarta – and on the same weekend too! And very interesting & professionally run they were too. I’ll be bringing along a colour programme from one of the shows and many photos I took of the exhibited vehicles, which included everything from ‘barn finds’ to ex Indonesian Presidential Limousines!
Back when I was a child at primary school, we used to call this ‘Show & Tell’, so if anyone else would like to bring anything relevant along on Sunday, then please feel free to do so. The more the merrier!
