Dear Fellow Classic Car Enthusiasts,

I am happy to report that our first Sunday Social, held at Inter Mini-Golf was a great success, with many members coming along for coffee, lots staying for lunch and two players venturing onto the putting lanes for 18 holes.

Member Nico was in attendance with his business partner Angel to explain the development work they have undertaken in the field of hydrogen generation as a fuel extender for vehicles and this “generated” a lot of interest and even more questions & conversation.

I am sorry to say that the Lotus did not make it’s first scheduled appearance – for those members who visit J & N Autos you will have seen that serious renovation is about to commence so for the time being my Sunday Socials will be Izusu powered. It was also good to see the classic bike of Robert & Susan Stem and to enjoy the first visit this year of Mike Madge – welcome back Mike.

To all those others who came along, including Pongkasem Jitasem, star of the Thai Rally Circuit – whose Coffee Shop we plan to visit for our November Sunday Social, his Rally schedule permitting – Thanks for your support and company! This goes particularly for new member Ernest Reypens who came along with an invitation to all members.

This is now time to let you know about our October Social. This will take place on Sunday 26th October and will involve a short Motorcade – from the Airport area down the Hang Dong Road, leading onto Canal Road until we are just south of Hang Dong, where we are invited to visit the Villa Obkhan, owned and managed of course by Nest Reypens.

Just one more thing, please help a fellow member. The family Reypens will be buying in food and delicious ingredients specially for our BBQ. It would be very helpful if you would let me know just how many are planning to come along. Price per head is as follows:
