Members Franck and Derrel are planning the biggest Charity Run ever undertaken by the club this month.

Between 80 - 100 children from The House of Blessing (Baan Phraporn) in Doi Suket, where we last visited as a Club in November 2007, will be taken (most hopefully by our member's classic cars) from their home base to The Horizon Village and Resort.

At Horizon Village the children and their helpers will be treated to a wonderful buffet lunch, and then given tours of the grounds and botanical gardens by special train. Afterwards, they will have the opportunity to play on the lawns, or visit the petting zoo.

Members will not meet at our usual meeting point, but will gather at the specially signposted car park and coffee shop at Horizon Village Resort, at 10:00am, where complimentary Tea or Coffee will be laid on. This is where car crews will be issued with their Motorcade stickers, the day's briefing pack and other items.

Help Us Give a Children’s Home a Great Day Out!

We have strong sponsorship and media support for this event as we shall have a motorcade of over 30 Classic Cars to convey the children safely to & from the Resort.

However, we would like to find additional sponsors to support the event and also appeal to owners of classic cars to consider making a commitment to spend a few hours (10 am to 5 pm) in the Doi Saket area giving these children a wonderful day out.
